We are hiring a Laser Drilling Operator to join a specialized precision manufacturing operation in Fort Wayne. This company manufactures high-precision wire drawing dies and tooling used throughout the wire and cable industry. As a Laser Drilling Operator, you will operate specialized laser drilling equipment used in the manufacturing of precision tooling.

Laser Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 18.88 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:00pm)

• Operate and monitor laser drilling equipment used to manufacture precision wire-drawing dies
• Set up and position small, precision components in the machine
• Follow work instructions, specifications, and production requirements
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed Inspect finished components for accuracy and quality
• Use measuring equipment and inspection tools to verify dimensions Identify defects, inconsistencies, or machine issues and report them appropriately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety and quality procedures

Laser Operator Qualifications:

• Manufacturing, machine operating, CNC, laser, or precision machining experience is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with very small components
• Comfortable using basic measuring tools and inspection equipment
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized equipment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive precision work
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Previous experience in a precision manufacturing environment is a plus
