Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with cataract and ENT experience for a hospital OR position on a day shift schedule.

Details

Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) role in a hospital surgical services department
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (6:45 AM-3:30 PM)
On-call requirement of 4 hours, 2 times per week

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience required
BLS certification required
CST certification required
Cataract and ENT surgical experience required
License required if applicable

Additional Information

Provide surgical support across a range of procedures including podiatry, orthopedic, ophthalmology, and ENT cases
Maintain aseptic technique, radiation safety, sharps safety, and proper specimen handling/labeling
Accepts local candidates at the local rate
50-mile radius rule applies
Maximum of 7 days RTO per contract, with only 1 holiday request permitted per contract
Holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
First-time travelers will be considered for this role
Returning staff/travelers must have a former manager's name on file for consideration
