Position: Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Start Date: August 31, 2026
Schedule: Days | 40 Hours Guaranteed

Schedule

• 8-hour day shifts
• 40 hours guaranteed each week
• Flexibility required for occasional evening coverage
• On-call required:
  • Weekdays: 3:30 PM – 7:00 PM (typically 1–3 times every 5–6 weeks)
  • Weekend call: Friday 3:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM (approximately one weekend every 5–6 weeks)

Please Note: Schedule accommodations, including requests for 10- or 12-hour shifts, block scheduling, or no-call schedules, will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide circulating nursing care in the Operating Room.
• Scrub for surgical procedures when qualified.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety throughout the perioperative process.
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC.
• Deliver safe, high-quality care across multiple surgical specialties.

• Local travelers (within 50 miles) are not eligible.
• Permanent address must be included with your application.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with your application.
• Maximum of 5 days of RTO accepted.
• Requested schedule changes after submission or during the interview process will not be approved.
• New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency documentation must accompany nursing submissions as required by state regulations.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Experience in multiple surgical specialties
• EPIC EMR experience
• Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact RN License (must be in hand at submission)
• Active AHA BLS Certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Reliable personal vehicle required

Preferred Qualifications

• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• OR nurses with scrub experience will receive priority consideration
