Workday Accounting Center Lead - AMS

Overview The Workday Accounting Center Manager will support the ongoing delivery of Application Managed Services (AMS) for clients leveraging Workday Accounting Center and related Financials modules. This role serves as a functional subject matter expert, providing hands‑on leadership for Accounting Center configuration, accounting integrations, reconciliation, and financial reporting in a post‑production environment. Responsibilities Lead configuration and maintenance of Workday Accounting Center in a post‑production AMS environment. Design and support accounting integrations from source systems into Workday Accounting Center. Resolve issues, support enhancements, and manage release impacts in collaboration with clients and internal delivery teams. Ensure accurate, scalable, and compliant accounting solutions that support downstream financial processes. Qualifications 3–5 years of proven experience implementing or supporting Workday Accounting Center with hands‑on configuration ownership. Experience as a functional subject matter expert for Accounting Center, including event configuration, journal generation, reconciliation, and downstream integration to the General Ledger. Hands‑on experience with Workday Prism Analytics (PRISM) for data ingestion, modeling, and reporting. Strong ability to translate source system transactions and accounting rules into accurate, scalable configurations that support compliance and audit requirements. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience. Preferred Skills & Experience Active Workday certification, especially in Financial Management or Accounting Center. Prior experience supporting Workday Accounting Center in AMS / PPS / Managed Services environments, including Tier 3 support. Experience designing and supporting accounting integrations and a strong understanding of financial accounting processes. Experience with medium to large‑scale Workday Financials environments, cross‑module dependencies, and reporting analytics (PRISM dashboards, reconciliation reporting, audit support). Strong proficiency with Excel for reconciliation, variance analysis, and data validation. Leadership or mentoring experience within an AMS model. Compensation Estimated base salary range: $135,000 - $165,000 (USD). Inclusive of annual incentive compensation, total estimated compensation: $162,000 - $198,000 (USD).
