Job Description The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptionally complex skills. They research and evaluate new concepts and processes to improve performance, analyze cross-functional problem sets, identify root causes and resolve issues. They also assist more junior level technicians, specialists, and managers in their activities. They work individually, actively participate on integrated teams, and direct multiple teams through to project completion. They oversee and monitor performance, and when required, take steps to resolve issues. In order to help support uninterrupted availability of INSCOM’s Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) baseline, the Level 3 Systems Administrator: Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process Provides in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems; configures and manages UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software Troubleshoots, maintains integrity of and configures network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance Provides detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets Performs systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks. Desktop system management responsibilities involve account monitoring, security, Operating System (OS) installation, and other local area system administration related functions Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problem Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems Installs/loads operating system and application software Isolates and resolves hardware and software problems involving the applications, the operating system, the hardware, the communications infrastructure, or any combination thereof Integrates new technologies into new and existing systems including the transition and migration of corporate systems Qualifications Certifications: DoD 8570.01-M IAT level III High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of relevant experience Associate’s Degree and 8 years of relevant experience Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of relevant experience Master’s Degree and 4 years of relevant experience Ph.D. and 2 years of relevant experience Clearance: Active TS/SCI Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
