Job Description: The Shift Manager will oversee daily operations during their shift, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to handle fast-paced situations, and a commitment to delivering quality service. Essential duties for a Shift Manager may include, but are not limited to the following: Leads Quickserve Hospitality, LLC- Bojangles quality and safety standards through proper cooking procedures, product calls, temp logs, and waste management. Assist with creating and implementing plans that ensures flawless execution of Quickserve Hospitality, LLC- Bojangles standards. Accepts payments from guests and makes change correctly. Explains menu and answers product questions for all guests. Bending, kneeling, standing and lifting (up to approximately 25 lbs. as necessary). Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily restaurant operations during scheduled shifts. Lead, train, and motivate team members to perform at their best. Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction by addressing customer concerns and feedback promptly. Monitor and manage food quality and presentation standards to uphold Bojangles' reputation. Handle cash management, including cash registers and daily reconciliation. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies, while minimizing waste. Support the Restaurant Manager in implementing operational procedures and best practices. Assist in scheduling and staffing to meet business needs. Track and report on key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement. Maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering team cohesion and professionalism. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or a related field preferred). Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles. Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a diverse team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first attitude. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Proficient in cash handling and familiarity with point-of-sale systems. Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
