Part-Time Emergency Department Nurse

Role Overview Provides direct patient care in emergency settings, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation following nursing standards. Responsibilities Promotes patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication administration. Participates in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with collaborative communication across care teams and patients. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers. Works in a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe practices. Qualifications Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree and active RN license. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
