Automotive Detail Technician Lead

Elko Motor Company is in search of an experienced Automotive Detail Technician Lead. We are looking for a dedicated professional with a proven track record in the Automotive Industry. The ideal candidate must be Driven, Energetic, Open Minded with Strong Interpersonal Skills and Professionalism.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate work flow of reconditioning of vehicles under direction of Sales Managers (i.e., for the lot, new and sold units, occasional service vehicle)
Assist Sales Managers in overseeing the quality of training and motivating employees to meet company performance standards.
Assist management with interviewing and hiring of qualified applicants.
Create work schedule for detailers under direction of Sales Managers.
Ensure proper coverage of department when Detail Lead is absent.
Periodically or as directed, conducts property and equipment inspections noting any maintenance needs/repairs and notifying management.
Maintains proper ordering and chemical inventory levels.
Ensures Detail area is a safe place to work and visit.
Requirements:
- 1+ Years experience in Automotive detail/reconditioning
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have Valid Driver's License
- Must pass Background Check and Drug Screen
- Must possess good time management skills and e able to multi-task
- Must possess skills to operate a manual transmission
- Have excellent Customer Service Skills
