You will be instrumental in providing quality medical care for low, mid and high acuity patients in this collaborative practice environment. This position is ideal for the hospitalist physician who desires to practice rural medicine, enjoys a high degree of autonomy as the quarterback of patient care in the hospital, and welcomes the ability to care for the full spectrum of inpatient medicine.

We welcome board certified/board eligible applicants who are internal medicine trained and/or family medicine trained with extensive training or practice experience with a comfort level in an open ICU setting. Will entertain candidates who desire to put down roots in Nebraska's landmark country or physicians interested in working in a collegial hospital medicine program while working a schedule that allows them to travel in to provide services yet live elsewhere.

Position Highlights:

• Manageable daily patients encounters around 13 with 2 admissions daily
