- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments using clinical interviews and review of inmate records
- Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on inmate needs and evaluation outcomes
- Document all treatment and assessment activities accurately in health care records
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
- Provide mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and support tailored to individual inmate needs
- Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques effectively within your caseload
- Address mental health needs in a correctional setting with professionalism and empathy
Required:
- LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license
- Valid Social Security card and driver's license for facility clearance
- Open availability per scheduling requirements
- Experience conducting mental health assessments and providing counseling in a correctional or institutional environment
- Experience working with inmate populations
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
- Strong documentation and confidentiality skills
