Faithful Home Care Solutions is seeking experienced female caregivers who are reliable, compassionate, and available to work in the KOP area, including day and overnight coverage. This role is ideal for caregivers who prefer longer shifts with fewer working days, providing consistent, high-quality care to clients.

Position Overview

The Direct Care Worker is responsible for providing comprehensive, non-medical personal care services to clients in their homes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, and hygiene maintenance
• Support activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, feeding assistance, ambulation, positioning, and transfers
• Utilize proper safety techniques and equipment (including Hoyer lift use as needed)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Support client independence according to the care plan
• Maintain a safe and clean environment
• Follow standard precautions and infection control procedures
• Maintain strict client confidentiality
• Communicate effectively with family members and the care team
• Adhere to agency policies, professional standards, and state regulations

Shift Requirements

• Day and Overnight Shift
• 12-hour-shift
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years related caregiving experience preferred
• Experience with Hoyer lift transfers required
• Experience providing incontinence care, including changing adult diapers, required
• Experience caring for bed-bound clients required

Licensure & Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable, insured transportation
• Satisfactory background check
• Professional references
