Options for 36 or 48 hours per week available. Weekend coverage as needed. Patient ratio of 6:1. Highlights: Travel nurse position on a progressive Medical Surgical unit caring for stroke and surgical patients First-time travelers welcome with 1 year minimum experience Telemetry central monitoring available 24/7 with dedicated monitoring technicians Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including rapid response teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more 39-bed unit with daily census of approximately 30 patients 24-36 hour orientation with onsite module training included Requirements: Active New Mexico or Compact state RN license (pending licenses accepted if obtained prior to start) Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical or Med/Surg Telemetry experience Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required; CPI preferred Epic charting system experience required Proficiency with telemetry monitoring, stroke care (CVA), surgical patient management, IV therapy, and wound care Must reside at least 50 miles from the work location Why Join Us?
