Role Overview: The Acute Registered Nurse provides specialized dialysis care within a hospital setting, ensuring quality patient outcomes and compliance with healthcare regulations. Key Responsibilities Administer medications and perform physical assessments pre- and post-treatment. Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and disinfect dialysis equipment. Monitor water quality, ensure infection control, and adhere to safety protocols. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, communicate patient status, and document care accurately. Assist in inventory management, staffing, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Support staff training, lead team efforts, and promote excellent patient service. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license in applicable state or compact. Preferred nursing experience, especially in dialysis care. CPR certification, ability to pass color screening, and basic computer proficiency. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
