Quality Assurance Technician – 1st ShiftLocation: Canton, OHWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our client's team on 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, using precision inspection tools, and ensuring products meet quality standards.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily inspections and testing using a variety of inspection tools and techniques.Support the production team with quality-related activities.Inspect incoming materials, work-in-process, and finished fabricated metal products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.Complete First Article Inspections (FAIs) and prepare First Article Reports using Microsoft Excel.Calibrate inspection equipment and maintain calibration records in the Gagepack database.Perform 100% inspection and make adjustments on select production lots as required by customer specifications.Maintain accurate inspection documentation in accordance with company and customer quality standards.QualificationsAbility to read and interpret blueprints.Experience using precision inspection tools, including:CalipersHeight gagesCombination squaresFamiliarity with CAD for entering inspection parameters into inspection software.Experience with calibration procedures.CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) experience is a plus.Knowledge of surface plate inspection techniques is a plus.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Pay: $23.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PMBenefitsMedical benefits with company contribution after 90 days of employment.Paid holidays.Two weeks of paid vacation after one year of employment.Additional benefits available.If you have a strong quality background and enjoy working in a manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply today!
