Lead Warehouse Associate

Lead Warehouse Associate position at Cencora's distribution facility in Newburgh, New York. Oversees warehouse operations including training associates, processing shipments, managing inventory accuracy, and resolving operational issues. Full-time role with Sunday and Monday-Thursday evening shifts.

Responsibilities

Train warehouse associates on duties, safety protocols, and equipment operation per standard procedures
Process inbound, outbound, and internal activities to support accurate product movement and order fulfillment
Prepare shipments, packaging, and staging areas to meet handling requirements and dispatch timelines
Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate damaged shipments to determine root causes
Monitor stock levels, storage conditions, and workflow to identify replenishment needs and service risks

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
3+ years warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or inventory control experience
Knowledge of warehouse operations: receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, returns
Ability to investigate and resolve routine to moderately complex operational issues
Clear communication skills with internal stakeholders on operational matters
CSCP or equivalent supply chain certification preferred

Compensation: $27.67 starting, up to $34.22 with differentials and incentives; salary range $52,000-$81,620 annually
