We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and fully licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCPC, LCSW-C, or LCMFT) to join our growing clinical team in Beltsville, Maryland. In this full-time hybrid role, you will provide high-quality individual, family, or group psychotherapy to a diverse client base. You will have the flexibility to balance remote telehealth sessions with dedicated, in-person clinical care at our Beltsville office. The ideal candidate is dedicated to clinical excellence, ethical practice, and fostering a supportive environment for long-term client wellness.
Core Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial intake assessments, mental status examinations, and psychosocial evaluations.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to client goals.
• Provide high-quality individual, couples, family, or group psychotherapy using modalities such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care.
• Maintain precise, timely, and compliant clinical documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries) within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Provide proactive crisis intervention and stabilization services as clinically required.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, primary care providers, and community partners to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Adhere strictly to all HIPAA regulations, professional ACA/NASW ethical codes, and Maryland state licensing board standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related mental health field.
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted independent clinical license in the state of Maryland (e.g., LCPC, LCSW-C, LCMFT). Note: Clean background check and verifiable credentials required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience providing direct psychotherapy preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency with standard EHR systems, strong diagnostic capabilities using the DSM-5, outstanding interpersonal communication, and excellent time-management skills.
