Essence Women's Health Group is actively seeking dedicated and experienced Women's Health Nurse Practitioners to enhance our team at our Augusta, Georgia location. This is a full-time, onsite role that focuses on delivering comprehensive healthcare services tailored to women's needs, from adolescence through maturity. Our Nurse Practitioners play a crucial role in promoting the health and well-being of our patients, actively participating in both routine care and urgent health issues.

The work setting for this position is an outpatient office, fostering direct interaction with patients and their families in a welcoming environment. As a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner here, you will collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive care experience. Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough physical examinations and health assessments, including detailed history taking and physical evaluations, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
• Deliver specialized women's health services such as IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, Colposcopies, Endometrial Biopsies, and managing Pessary fittings, ensuring utmost precision and patient comfort.
• Engage with supervising physicians and a team of clinicians for consultations on complex patient cases, enhancing the quality of care delivered.
• Actively advocate for the needs of patients and their families, integrating their physiological, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and cognitive backgrounds into care plans.
• Facilitate patient care coordination through effective partnership with the healthcare team, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
• Review patients' medical records and track follow-ups and diagnostic study orders in accordance with institutional protocols.
• Demonstrate proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies to maintain accurate documentation and streamline communication.
• Implement safety protocols and maintain legal knowledge relating to patient confidentiality and risk management during patient care.
• Maintain composure in emergency situations, following established emergency procedures and ensuring swift notification of relevant personnel.
• Build relationships with patients, demonstrating a service-oriented approach to care that upholds the highest standards of professional conduct.

The patient population at Essence Women's Health Group includes women of all ages, from teenagers seeking reproductive health guidance to older adults requiring specialized care for menopause and beyond. Qualifications

• Must hold an active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Georgia, along with a CDS and DEA registration.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited institution is required.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably with a focus on Women's Health.
• Experience with state programs, including Medicare and Medicaid, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $220,000, commensurate with experience and expertise. We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
