Travel RN - Med/Surg

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Allergy/Immunology Clinic position in the Southeast Wisconsin area, with ambulatory care experience preferred and a multi-site floating schedule.

Job Details

• Outpatient clinic setting serving allergy, immunology, and asthma/pulmonary patients,
• Multi-site role rotating across several clinic locations in the greater Milwaukee/Southeast Wisconsin area, with priority given to the Oak Creek and South Milwaukee region sites,
• Roughly 4-5 exam rooms per clinic site,
• Average patient volume of 16-24 patients per shift, with 2-3 RNs on per shift,
• 40-hour work week on 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (7:30 AM - 5:00 PM),
• No weekend rotation or on-call requirements,
• Floating required within the clinic territory; the Good Hope location is on the north side of Milwaukee and may add commute distance,
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred,

Job Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required,
• Current BLS certification required,
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; most recent experience must be within the last year,
• Ambulatory care and allergy/immunology experience highly preferred,
• Proficiency in triage, rooming patients, performing spirometry, and administering IT injections,
• Comfort with pediatric patients and IV skills preferred,
• At least 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN dated within the last year required for consideration,
• Candidate's middle name or initial, date of birth, and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include triaging patients, rooming, performing spirometry, and administering immunotherapy (IT) injections,
• Orientation length is based on previous skillset,
• A clinical interview with the manager is required, with the manager giving final approval,
• No holiday coverage requirements,
• Any color scrubs are acceptable,
