We are looking for the right person to join our front desk team! We are offering 30-40 hours per week in a very busy and long-term family practice clinic, Richfield Medical Group, in Richfield, MN. Our candidates will spend most of the time at the front desk but will help assist with cross coverage in different areas of our clinic assisting with administrative support.

The appropriate person will check in patients in an enthusiastic, courteous, professional manner. They will assist with scheduling new and existing client appointments, work on chart prep, and assist in any other manner that is required. They will assist and respond to physician questions or direct them to appropriate person when necessary. Perform various front desk duties as required. Address and resolve recurring problems.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

*High school diploma or equivalent

*Experience in customer service and telephone receptionist duties preferred.

*Minimal one-year experience with knowledge of administrative and clerical support in a medical environment preferred.

*Medical terminology a plus.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

*EPIC experience a plus. 

*Excellent customer service and communication skills.

*The ability to work as a member of a team.

*Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

*Well-organized with attention to detail.

*Treat clients and co-workers with respect.

*Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods including telephone communications and office systems.

*Ability to establish priorities and complete objectives without supervision.

*Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.
