Job DescriptionJob Summary:The Quantitative Analyst is responsible for developing, validating, and implementing advanced quantitative models to support risk management, financial forecasting, and strategic decision-making. This role leverages statistical, mathematical, and programming expertise to analyze complex data sets, ensure model accuracy, and provide actionable insights to business leaders.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Design, develop, and validate statistical and financial models for risk assessment, forecasting, and portfolio management; analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities; ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements; collaborate with risk, finance, IT, and business units to optimize model performance and integration; monitor and report on model performance metrics; resolve complex modeling and analytical issues; develop and implement process improvements to enhance model accuracy and efficiency; maintain accurate and up-to-date model documentation; support model governance and audit processes; stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes; provide training and mentorship to junior analysts.The information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
