Data Manager Location: Corriher Lipe Middle School, Landis, North Carolina Starting Date: Aug3,2026 Reports to: Principal Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency required Certified Notary Public (or expected to obtain, cost covered by school) Organized approach and excellent time‑management skills Prioritizes and structures tasks to meet deadlines and expectations Team‑player with strong computer literacy and keyboarding skills Accuracy and attention to detail with professionalism at all times Administrative skills to interpret county and state policies governing enrollment, withdrawal, attendance, immunizations, and health records Effective communication with school personnel, students, parents, and outside agencies Proficient with software for data entry, reporting, word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, and the PowerSchool program Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive student/staff information Ability to work independently with limited supervision; uses initiative for recurring assignments Decision‑making and problem‑solving with school data Works well under pressure Key Duties and Responsibilities PowerSchool Student Information Management (including but not limited to) Enrollments Withdrawals Discipline Student/Teacher/Room schedules Transcripts Historical grades Test scores Immunizations Demographics Attendance and Grade Management Monitors teachers’ entry of attendance and grades into PowerSchool Monitors student absences for correct excused/unexcused coding Prepares student absence lists and daily absence bulletin Maintains student sign‑in/sign‑out logs per coordinator directions Corresponds with parents about absences and tardiness, including attendance letters per district procedures Directs teachers regarding attendance procedures and policies Student Entry and Withdrawals (in coordination with administration) Enrolls new students throughout the year Enters basic student and demographic information Processes arriving student’s cumulative records Prepares cumulative records for departing students Withdraws students from PowerSchool Maintains files of arriving/departing students’ cumulative records Copies and sends cumulative records for withdrawing students Maintains a log of student entries and departures Requests cumulative records for new students and sends upon request for exiting students Manages student cumulative records per FERPA and district policies (exception for grades9‑12) Collects data for and prints marking‑period report cards PowerSchool Reporting and Audits Generates reports required by school, district, state, law enforcement, health agencies, and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction Calculates and prepares honor rolls Performs historical testing audits on student records Monthly and Quarterly Reports Include Principal Monthly Report (PMR) Student Activity Report (SAR) Monthly and Quarterly Data Team reports Scheduling reports Headcount reports Civil Rights Data Collection Spring and Fall AIG Common Follow‑up Retention/promotion/graduation report Dropout data collection Alternative Learning Report Discipline #J-18808-Ljbffr
