Quality Line Inspector

Quality Line InspectorWe are hiring a Quality Line Inspector for a manufacturing facility in Des Moines. This position is responsible for inspecting products throughout the manufacturing and packaging process to make sure they meet quality standards. You will perform quality checks, document results, identify defects, and work with production employees to address quality concerns.ResponsibilitiesInspect products throughout the manufacturing and packaging process.Perform visual inspections, measurements, and routine quality checks.Monitor production lines to make sure products meet quality standards.Identify and document defects or quality issues.Record inspection results and production information accurately.Check labeling, packaging, and overall product appearance.Communicate quality concerns to production employees and supervisors.Assist with investigating quality issues and corrective actions.Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Maintain a clean and organized work area.QualificationsAt least 1 year of quality inspection or quality control experience.Previous manufacturing or production experience.Ability to identify defects and inconsistencies in products.Ability to read work orders and blueprints.Comfortable completing quality and production documentation.Basic computer skills.Strong attention to detail.High school diploma or GED.Work EnvironmentThis position is located in a chemical manufacturing facility in Des Moines. The facility is dusty and not temperature controlled, and employees may be exposed to strong fumes. Uniforms, safety shoes, hard hats, safety glasses, and hearing protection are provided.
