Responsibilities We are looking for a Royalty Senior Analyst to join our Business Management and Family Office. As a Royalty Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for: Work closely with royalty professional staff on catalog valuations, royalty audits of music companies (e.g. record labels and music publishers) and other licensees of intellectual property on behalf of the Firm’s clients. Assist with all aspects of engagements, including planning, review, and report writing. Financial modeling Analyze large datasets using Excel (possibly Access/SQL) Review, interpret and apply contract terms to royalty data. Prepare workpaper, claim schedules and reports. Assist with fieldwork conducted remotely or on-site (travel may occasionally be required). Comfortably interact with clients through written and spoken communications. Assist with various types of research and projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Advanced Excel skills—pivot tables, look‑ups, etc. (MS Access and/or SQL database querying skills would be a plus). Comfortable with large data sets. 2 to 5 years of music industry royalty experience Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Work well with employees, clients and licensees.
