Veterinary Position

Job Summary: To provide outstanding medical care, including but not limited to, routine examinations, vaccinations, emergency triage and stabilization, spay/neuter surgeries, dental cleanings and extractions, other minor surgical procedures as necessary for shelter animals. Additionally, perform vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, minor surgical procedures and dental cleanings/extractions for publicly owned animals as part of a low-cost community veterinary partner.

While performing the duties of this class, employees are regularly required to talk or hear, in person and by telephone; sit; use and operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms. Employees are frequently required to walk, run, stand, squat and kneel. Employees must have the ability to lift, restrain, vaccinate and move animals weighing up to 70 pounds.
