Senior Technical Business Analyst

Compensation $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 / Yearly Hours Per Week 40 Number Of Positions 1 Job Description AXIS Specialty U.S. Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Business Analyst in Princeton, NJ. Duties:

• Lead the capture, analysis, and documentation of business requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with project objectives.
• Develop key business deliverables, including capability matrices, detailed requirements documentation, business rules, and communication/training materials.
• Support business architecture initiatives by identifying process issues, capability gaps, and improvement opportunities in partnership with functional leads and stakeholders.
• Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical teams to facilitate communication, clarify requirements, and resolve day to day business inquiries.
• Conduct walkthroughs and reviews with project teams and business leads to validate requirements and solution design.
• Partner with Quality Assurance and SMEs to ensure requirements traceability and adequate test coverage during User Acceptance Testing.
• Enforce standards, templates, and methods for requirements documentation and support change management efforts and end user training.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, or related field, plus 2 years of experience in P&C insurance business analysis. Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

• Working with a commercially available P&C Policy Administration System (PAS) including Duck Creek (Policy, Billing, or Claims) or COTS PAS; and
• Developing business and technical documentation, including business requirements, use cases, storyboarding, and formal documentation.

In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, or related field plus 2 years of experience in P&C insurance business analysis, the employer will accept 4 years of experience in P&C insurance business analysis. Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following:

• Working with a commercially available P&C Policy Administration System (PAS) including Duck Creek (Policy, Billing, or Claims) or COTS PAS; and
• Developing business and technical documentation, including business requirements, use cases, storyboarding, and formal documentation.

Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience. 40 hours/week, $140,000 - $160,000 per year.
