About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Hospice Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours, Monday - Friday, 0800 - 1630, with some call rotation Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience License: Active IL license or confirmation of application process initiated Certifications: BLS, Valid driver's license and insurance Must-Have: Independent worker, works remotely, computer/EMR skills Description: The role involves providing end-of-life care to patients in hospice settings. Expect to conduct 4 to 5 patient visits per day. There is a requirement for weekend call rotation, varying based on staff availability. Typically, the call rotation is 1 every 4 to 5 weekends, including Saturday and Sunday. There will also be a call requirement of 1-2 nights per week. There is one aide available for every two RNs. Charting will be done using the EPIC system. This is a drug-free position, and candidates must pass a negative drug screen for all panels.
