Process Manufacturing Engineer

Job Details:

We are seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to improve manufacturing processes, production efficiency, quality, and cost. This is an on-site role with a strong focus on process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement .

Key Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes to improve throughput, quality, yield, and OEE.
Troubleshoot production issues and lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
Drive improvements in cycle time, scrap, downtime, setup reduction, and overall efficiency.
Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, process flows, and other manufacturing documentation.
Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, SMED, and Value Stream Mapping.
Partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Production on NPI and DFM initiatives.
Evaluate equipment, tooling, and processes for automation, reliability, and cost-reduction opportunities.
Analyze production data and KPIs to identify and implement process improvements.

Qualifications

Process, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering experience in a hands-on production environment.
Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, electronics, etc. or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, RCA, and process optimization.
CAD experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, project management, and communication skills.
Plastics and/or rubber manufacturing experience are highly desirable; extrusion and/or molding experience a strong plus.
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

Requirements

U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Green Card Holder.
Must be able to work on-site in a manufacturing environment.
Occasional travel may be required.

Compensation: $75,000–$95,000 + Performance Bonus + 401(k) + Comprehensive Benefits
