MUSC Health Florence is seeking a full-time BC/BE Internal Medicine physician who is interested in serving as core faculty. This is an opportunity to join a well-established primary care network, while playing an integral role in growing and shaping the Internal Medicine Residency Program at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center.

MUSC Health Florence Medical Center is a leading regional acute care facility comprised of 396 patient beds, more than 1,500 employees, and nearly 300 physicians representing all major specialties. Our extensive range of services include an Emergency Department, heart and vascular care, cancer treatment, minimally invasive orthopaedic and general surgery, diagnostics, women s health and rehabilitation services.

Required Qualifications:

• BC/BE in Internal Medicine
• Unrestricted SC licensure
• Federal and state-controlled substance registration

Position Highlights:

• 100% outpatient
• Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• Dedicated onsite support staff
• Minimal shared call
• Split time between educational, administrative, and clinical care
• Serve as a role model, mentor, and advisor to residents
• Participate in the selection, orientation, and evaluation of residents
• Support the Program Director and Associate Program Director in the implementation of policies and procedures consistent with institutional and program requirements
• Participate in resident scholarship with the goal of one scholarly project per year
