Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Obtain and record initial assessments, establish priorities according to patient needs
• Re-assess patients to identify progress and trends requiring intervention
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Make nursing decisions based on patient outcomes and modify care plans as necessary
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning
• Implement and document timely interventions for patient needs
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
