We are seeking a motivated Mass Properties Engineer to join our Mechanical and Energetics department in Chandler, AZ. As a vital member of our mass properties group, you will operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, working alongside diverse engineering teams to model the mass properties of advanced launch vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and sustain Mass Properties Models for launch vehicles and their subsystems.
- Perform estimations and optimizations of mass properties, including weight, center of gravity, and inertia.
- Establish design target weights and monitor adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain mass properties accounting systems and deliver trend analyses to program leadership.
- Contribute to proposal evaluations, design reviews, and operational documentation.
- Conduct component weighing and verification activities to enhance the accuracy of mass estimates.
- Clearly communicate results in technical and program reviews.
- Regularly interact with other departments to gather critical information and provide status updates.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- 0–5 years of engineering experience (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding and practical usage of CAD software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience programming in Access VBA and Excel Macros .
- Demonstrated ability to manage project tasks independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Prior exposure to mass properties concepts through academic projects, internships, or work experience
