The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The focus is on providing patient-centered care aimed at improving functional independence. Duties include implementing occupational therapy treatment plans for residents. Effective communication with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team is essential. Maintain compliance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and regulatory standards. Complete documentation as per facility standards. SNF experience is preferred, but mentorship is available for those with 0-1 year of experience.
