Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT/DPT) Location: Redding, CA Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Days Compensation: $43.00 – $62.28 per hour Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT/DPT) to join a dynamic acute care healthcare team in Redding, CA. This role is responsible for providing medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services aimed at restoring function, improving mobility, relieving pain, and preventing disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary disorders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, possess strong clinical skills, and thrive in a collaborative healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, assess, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence Treat patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary conditions Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery goals Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards Qualifications Education Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate, or Certificate Degree in Physical Therapy required Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred Licensure & Certifications Current State Physical Therapy License required Current BCLS/BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon hire and must be maintained Preferred Experience Acute care or hospital-based physical therapy experience preferred Experience treating orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, neurological, or post-surgical patients Strong patient assessment and rehabilitation skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package including: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off Tuition Reimbursement Additional Voluntary Benefits Compensation is based on experience, education, licensure, and overall qualifications.
