Duties and Performance Requirements
1. Inspect sediment and stormwater management ditches, channels, pipes, and drainage structures to assure compliance with approved sediment and stormwater plans constructed under the Delaware Sediment and Stormwater Regulations.
2. Perform on-site inspections of completed stormwater management practices to ensure that all measures are functioning in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
3. Consult with contractors, builders, and engineers concerning maintenance and repairs needed.
4. Maintain a daily log in an accurate, clear, and comprehensive manner of all work inspected.
5. Maintenance inspection reports that accurately reflect site conditions and performance of constructed stormwater management facilities.
6. Provide technical assistance and outreach and education on the proper function of stormwater facilities.
7. Maintain and update the stormwater database. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
8. Perform other related duties as requested by the Sediment and Stormwater Program Manager and the District Coordinator.
