Loader Operator

Loader OperatorWe are seeking an experienced Loader Operator to work on our construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budget. As a key member of our team, the Loader Operator will work closely with other crew members and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed to the highest level of quality.ResponsibilitiesOperate loaders to move materials, earth, and other heavy objectsEnsure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of qualityCommunicate regularly with other crew members and subcontractors to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budgetDevelop and maintain relationships with crew members and subcontractors to ensure that they are aware of project schedules and deadlinesEnsure that all equipment is properly maintained and that safety procedures are followed at all timesIdentify and resolve issues that arise during construction projectsAbility to work in tight areasAbility to Mult-taskWork with Pipe/Other CrewsOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in heavy equipment operation preferred3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment, with experience in a construction setting preferredAbility to read and interpret construction plans and specificationsStrong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiencesStrong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze project data and identify trends and opportunities for improvementExperience with government contracts and compliance is a plusMust have reliable transportationMust have the ability to work extended hours as required by the workloadMay include some weekend and evening work, depending on projectWorking outdoors in AZ climateWe offer an excellent work environment including competitive wages, subsidized health insurance, paid time off, paid sick leave, paid holidays, 401k plan Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and voluntary dental and supplemental benefits.
