Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Swing Bed / Night Shift

Location

Kirksville, Missouri

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | Weekends Required | On-Site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for inpatient rehabilitation (Swing Bed) patients in a unit of up to 10 beds
• Absorb Med/Surg patient assignments as needed when Swing Bed census decreases
• Float to Med/Surg for patient assignments or to other units for task-based support within existing competencies
• Adhere to call requirements as volume dictates, within contractual call-off limits
• Document and manage patient care using the MedHost electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
• Rehabilitation and/or Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and participate in call rotation as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Swing Bed program or inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Familiarity with MedHost EMR platform
• Comfort floating between units and adapting to varying patient populations
