Quality Control Supervisor (Braintree, MA) Wollaston Alloys/CPP Boston is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to join our team! Responsibilities Supervise QC Inspectors Assign and distribute work Develop customer confidence internally and externally, by clear and expeditious response to customer queries and corrective action requests. Build an atmosphere of competence, cooperation and trust with customer representatives via Source Inspection and Supplier Product, Systems and Qualification Surveys. Take active participation in our Continuous Improvement efforts, promote quality excellence and encourage teamwork among ourselves and our customers. Stay abreast of technological advances and innovative analytical systems, which may be used to significantly reduce or eliminate wasteful, redundant operations. Forecast potential problem situations and suggest possible solutions. Be proactive, innovative, and creative using judgment and decision making in the implementation of necessary quality programs. Responsible for adherence to all safety policies, practices and procedures. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in a related field 5+ years of work experience in a similar role Familiarity with the casting industry and related processes is desirable Strong NDT testing knowledge (VT, MT, PT, RT) Strong communication skills Program management skills Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing a plus Able to work independently with minimal directions Pay starting at $75,000 USD/Year This is a full time position #J-18808-Ljbffr Consolidated Precision Products
