Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teacher certification for the state
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation

• Ability to modify curriculum and develop innovative, individualized strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff and parents
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and other support staff
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs
• Maintain accurate records per state and district requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
• Provide direct instruction and support in resource, inclusion, or self-contained settings
