RN - L&D Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 10 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Must-Have: Experience in OB, preterm, and pregnancy care Familiarity with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems Ability to provide breastfeeding support and lactation support Experience with cesarean sections and circulating for C-sections Knowledge of couplet care and discharge teaching to parents Competency in managing insulin drips and isolation precautions Proficiency in labor and delivery and maternal/newborn care Skills in newborn assessment, thermoregulation, and triage of obstetrical patients Ability to utilize external fetal heart monitoring Description:We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in this specialty.Candidates with prior experience are preferred, but first-timers are also accepted.The nurse will care for adult patients with OB and preterm pregnancy needs.The unit has 13 Labor and Delivery rooms and two operating rooms.The facility handles approximately 200 deliveries per month.The nurse should be comfortable working varying patient ratios, averaging 1-2 patients per shift.Position requires working every other weekend and potential floating within women's services.Staff members are expected to work major holidays as designated.Compliance with onboarding requirements is critical for timely start.The role demands a proactive approach to patient care and exceptional communication skills.If you are a compassionate and skilled individual ready to make a difference in maternal care, #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
