Network Administrator

*Description*
Responsibilities
* Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
* Monitor network performance, uptime, and security using network management tools; proactively address issues.
* Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity problems for clinical and administrative users.
* Support implementation and maintenance of network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
* Perform routine system updates, patching, and firmware upgrades.
* Assist with network segmentation and performance optimization initiatives.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, diagrams, and inventory records.
* Ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements and organizational security policies.
* Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
* Travel to facilities as needed to provide on-site technical support and assistance.
*Additional Skills & Qualifications*
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in network administration or a related IT role.
* Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
* Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and subnetting.
* Experience with network hardware such as Cisco, Barracuda, or similar systems.
* Familiarity with firewall configuration and network security best practices.
* Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
* Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Butler, PA.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
