Controller

Compensation: $135,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience Location: Overland Park, Kansas Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Controller to join their team! This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a hands‑on finance professional who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and making a real difference. You’ll support two high‑volume divisions, partner closely with Operations leadership, and own the financial story behind the numbers. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Manage and develop a small accounting team Own month‑end close and financial reporting Deliver accurate, timely results and variance analysis Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense management Analyze transaction‑level data to identify trends and opportunities Partner with Operations to improve profitability and controls Prepare ad‑hoc reporting and management analysis Support entity‑level franchising and royalty reporting requirements Required Qualifications & Experience: 8–10 years of progressive accounting or finance experience preferred Experience in operational accounting or financial leadership Strong month‑end close and financial reporting background Proven ability to analyze large volumes of detailed data Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Ability to partner effectively with Operations leadership Experience managing or mentoring accounting staff Strong communication and business partnering skills Background in public accounting or corporate finance is valuable Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Public accounting experience Experience in multi‑unit or high‑volume environments Experience working with POS‑driven data Strong operational finance and analytics background Experience improving processes and financial controls This opportunity includes a comprehensive and competitive benefits package—details will be shared during later stages of the hiring process.
