The Cosmetologist provides beauty services for guests by performing the following duties. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Performs manicures & pedicures according to licensing standards (may also assist with hair styling & makeup application for group events & weddings). Interacts cooperatively with other spa team members to deliver a seamless guest experience. Maintains a warm and professional persona towards guests and co‑workers. Adheres to High Professional Image Standards Dress, grooming & language. Practices the highest standard of sanitation, neatness and visual presentations. Maintains organized workstations. Completes daily check lists of cleaning obligations and abides by all county, state, and local laws and regulations regarding sanitation, cleanliness and safety. Adheres to work schedule and demonstrates good work ethics. Maintains a positive and professional attitude. Equipment Utilization Pedicure stations, nail stations, implements and sanitation equipment. When licensed to do so, may also perform additional treatments such as massage, facials, etc. Varying work hours – must be available on weekends. Special Qualifications & Requirements Must have a valid State of Vermont Cosmetology License (Esthetician License could also be considered), with at least 12 months of practice in Vermont. Compensation & Benefits Salary is based on a 30% commission & 18% gratuity on treatment services ranging from a combined $19.00 to $36.00 per base service. Paid Sick Time. 401(k) program eligibility with employer match after a year of employment with 1,000 hours of service. FREE or deeply discounted season passes for you and your dependents.
