Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Provide labor, delivery, and recovery care
• Perform triage and circulate for C-section
• Assist with breastfeeding
• Conduct 1st-hour baby care (excludes admission assessment, eyes, and thighs)

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Current (within previous 2 years) Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring
• L&D experience
• Current NRP and BLS certifications
• Experience at facilities with 3000 births per year preferred
