The Personal Care Aide fills a very important position at Angels On Your Side Home Care . We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team. The Personal Care Aide will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to clients with various personal care needs, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives in their homes. This position requires a caring and empathetic individual who is committed to improving the well-being of our clients

Some Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Have the ability to motivate others in a positive manner.
• Have the ability to read and write.
• Have the ability to understand and carry out instructions.
• Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, the elderly and the disabled.
• Have the ability to communicate effectively with patients, with their families and with co-workers.
• Have the ability to organize work and schedule effectively.
• Moderate to heavy lifting on occasions.
• Maintain clients confidential and private document (written and verbal)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to participate in physical activity.
• Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on an as required basis.
• Ability to work for an extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity as required.

Job Requirements:

• One (1) year experience
• Current CPR certification ( preferred)
• Certified Nurse Aid or Home Health Aid (preferred)
• Current Driver License, and vehicle insurance
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to pass a TB Skin Test & Drug screen
• Must be able to pass a criminal history check
