What You'll Do

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments using clinical interviews and review of records.
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans for inmates based on assessment findings.
• Document all treatment activities accurately in the healthcare record, maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Provide mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and evaluation to address inmate needs.
• Apply psychological counseling techniques with caseload individuals, demonstrating thorough understanding of theories and practices.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare documentation standards and confidentiality requirements.
• Collaborate with facility staff to support inmate mental health and safety.

What You Need

• Active California license (LCSW or LPCC)
• Prior experience in mental health assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention
• Strong knowledge of psychological counseling techniques and confidentiality protocols
• US Citizenship; ICE clearance in progress (expedited processing available)
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekdays and weekends
