About the Position
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a high-volume Labor and Delivery/Perinatal setting
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
- Apply Intermediate Fetal Monitoring skills to assess and respond to fetal well-being
- Perform neonatal resuscitation and advanced life support interventions as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service
- Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school or college of nursing
- 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume delivery service
- S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification
