Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 36 Hours Per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the Labor & Delivery department
• Coordinate patient care with other clinical disciplines to ensure comprehensive, team-based care
• Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all patient care decisions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California
• Basic Life Support (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
