Overview RN Supervisor (House Supervisor) – Newark, NY. Travel – Temporary Assignment. Start date: 07/07/2026. Duration: Weeks. Weekly pay: $2,269–$2,464 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 3 eight‑hour shifts plus 1 twelve‑hour shift per week (total 36 hours). Shift times may include 11p–7a, 3p–11p, or 7p–7a. Facility setting: Skilled Nursing Facility with a 180‑bed census across five units. Key highlights: 3 eight‑hour shifts + 1 twelve‑hour shift per week (36 hours); start date 07/07/2026; 180‑bed skilled nursing facility; geriatrics across five units; weekend coverage every other weekend; floating across multiple units; pre‑approved time off: 1 per contract. Responsibilities Provide charge/supervisory leadership across multiple units during off shifts, ensuring safe, efficient patient care and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Manage patient flow and prioritization of care to meet the facility census and clinical standards. Perform and supervise wound care, including wound VACs; IV starts; PICC line care/management; tube feeds; ostomy care as needed. De‑escalate and manage assaultive behavior; maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Oversee infection control, isolation procedures, and incident/sentinel event reporting; ensure regulatory compliance (DPH, TJC, OSHA). Maintain EPIC charting accuracy; contribute to care planning and daily rounds; mentor and coach staff; support orientation and staff development. Requirements Active NY RN license; license in hand to submit. BLS certification. EPIC charting experience required. Charge/supervisory experience required. Prior skilled nursing/long‑term care experience preferred. Education: RN credential (as applicable to licensure). Benefits & Support Orientation: 80 hours. Pre‑approved time off: 1 per contract.
