PHYSICAL THERAPIST - FULL TIME - THE ORCHARD POST ACUTE - WHITTIER, CA The Orchard Post Acute in Whittier, CA, is a skilled nursing facility offering long‑term care, post‑acute rehabilitation, and geriatric outpatient therapy services. We are seeking a Full‑Time Physical Therapist to join our in‑house therapy team. You will have opportunities for training and continuing education in areas such as Think Thin/dysphagia, Abilities Care and dementia, stroke and neuro rehabilitation, and respiratory/COVID recovery programs. Full Time: Flexible schedule, work‑life balance. Pay: $48–$58 per hour based on experience. Responsibilities Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans in accordance with regulatory and clinical standards. Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, following regulatory and clinical practice requirements. Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices. Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders. Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements. Qualifications Physical Therapist license required. Open to Physical Therapists at all experience levels. New graduates are welcome.
