Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Massachusetts. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a facility with a focus on labor, delivery, and postpartum services. The RN will deliver care to newborns and adults in a busy mother-baby unit, adhering to policies and guidelines to support patient safety and well-being.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must have a valid Massachusetts licensed registered nurse (RN) license, minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience, certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC/Centricity technology, familiarity with AWHONN staffing guidelines.
• Float: Float rotation may be required between Labor and Delivery and Postpartum units.
• Additional Information:
  • Position requires the labor and postpartum care in a facility with 9 labor rooms and 16 postpartum beds.
  • Typical patient age groups include newborns and adults with common diagnoses such as pregnancy and postpartum conditions.
  • Experience with magnesium and oxytocin drips/machine management is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Start date is as soon as possible, and the assignment duration is 13 weeks with the possibility of travel.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and willing to work every other holiday and weekend.
