Case Assignments: Orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, ENT, podiatry, spine fusions, cataracts, endoscopy, colonoscopy, TEE, cardioversions, pacemakers, and general surgery. Pediatric cases are ENT cases for M&T, adenoidectomies, and tonsillectomies.

Shifts: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts. Beeper call on evenings and weekends.

Team Leadership: Elizabeth Gooding, DNP, APRN, CRNA – Advanced Practice Anesthesia Director. Prior to joining NAPA, Elizabeth served as an Advanced Practice Anesthesia Director for American Anesthesiology for the Mid-South region. Upon joining NAPA in 2020, Elizabeth assumed an integral role as a Chief Anesthetist in Raleigh, NC. Today, she is a part of the NAPA regional leadership and serves as the Advanced Practice Anesthesia Director for the Northeast Region.

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements:

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Leadership experience preferred

Total Rewards: Salary: $122.60/hr ($255k annually) + ability to earn more with additional call opportunities. Chief CRNA Stipend: $10k. Sign on bonus: $100k.
